What's in a name? Apparently something. These days, for a variety of very good reasons, Danfans simply want to meet up for dinner or a drink before the show. Terms like "Danfests" and "Wing Dings" tend to intimate more than a few into thinking that more involved planning is required when it is not.

So have a full-scale Danfest if you want; but in the spirt of flying low and almost under the radar, let's just call these things "Danfan Meet-ups".

If you are interested in meeting up before or after one of these shows--or if you want to stay in touch via email about parking options, last minute ticket upgrades, freebies, Dan-related events in your town four months from now and the like--then
