HOW THIS WORKS

As Danfan ambassadors and attachés, have a great time celebrating Steely Dan, spreading the fandom and spirit of Steely Dan, attracting new hard-core fans and new generations of Loyal Dandom to carry the torch for generations to come.

Keeping things simple this year...

1.) Sign up for the email list to the left that matches the shows for which you plan to attend and meet other Danfans.

2.) Stay in touch by signing up for the e-mail list(s) associated with the shows that you plan to attend. This page and the email lists will have the most definitive and up-to-date information. This info may also be included in the Dandom Digest, the Facebook Group "Dandom.com/Danfests" and on Twitter @DandomDotCom, should not be considered the definitive and most-up-to-date source of information for a Danfest or Fan Meet-Up.

3.) Don't see an email list for your show?
If you are interested in a meet-up for a show not listed on this page, please email DanfestsATdandomDOTcom and an email list will be activated within 48 hours.
If a list already exists from previous years, it will be reactivated so you can meet-up with other interested fans.

4.) If this doesn't make sense, just email DanfestsATdandomDOTcom and tell us what you need. You'll be taken care of.

Earthbound Keith and his Galaxy Girl, Janet, invite you to join them in some pre-show revelry in a truly apt setting.

The Rathskeller's outdoor Bier Garten features large-scale tables with seating for hundreds, a band shell with a variety if live entertainment, and enough sausage & beer to satisfy any visiting Cheesehead! In case inclement weather rolls in, there is plenty of indoor seating as well, no worries there.

Janet and I will be arriving early to try to claim a table or two, and hope to hang a banner on a fence nearby.

Free Parking is typically available on the neighboring streets, with a short walk to the venue. Upon arrival at the Rathskeller, look for a chalkboard sign on the sidewalk, the restaurant entrance is close by. Walk down a few steps to the Maitre D' station and ask for direction to the Bier Garten. Walk past the bar on your left and look for the stairs leading up and outside. Windows for food and beverages are located up to the left. Now, look for those Steely Dan T-shirts!

"For those of you coming in for the Sept 17 Steely Dan show at the Beacon Theater. We are having an after party for the fans at The Bitter End in Greenwich Village. The band for the after party is Lawrence "L*A*W" Worrell. Law plays in George Clinton's 420 Funk Mob and also was in Amy Winehouse's band before her recent passing. After The Bitter End show, we will continue the party at The Peculiar Pub which is right next door to The Bitter End.

When they ask you at the door who you're there to see, mention "Steely Dan After Party" and it's only a $5 charge. The $5 charge will also include admission to the Peculiar Pub.
